This lovely sofa was designed by Stefan Diez. Tropez is considering that the world of outdoor furniture is an unpretentious and light way of use, a bit like a lacewing would land in a garden with ease. It is a line very much defined by its casual aspects and flexibility inspired by the world of sports from the 20s and 30s. Using a specific language from elegant sailing boats and handcrafted tennis racks, Tropez is bringing the comfort of domestic furniture to the outside. Due to its platform construction, based on an extruded aluminum profile, various elements can be plugged, offering a great level of flexibility. It is made of thermo-lacquered aluminum and plastic fabric. It has polyurethane foam rubber covered with water-repellant fabric and a removable fabric cover that makes it easier to maintain. This collection also presents a bed, chaise lounge, armchair, sofa and modular sofa, high and low tables, a stool and benches. Available in white, sand and black, this lovely piece will look great on your terrace. What do you think?

This Nepa Lamp was designed by the same talented product and lighting designer Giles Godwin-Brown. The Nepa Lamp is described by its creator as a ” two-dimensional lamp silhouette that seamlessly transforms into a fully functioning three-dimensional task lamp.” The wall-mounted 6 ft high lamp was built out of conventional materials – birch plywood with stainless steel and aluminum details – with the help of computer-controlled technologies. It uses friction hinges along with a pivot in the base to enable a full range movement and utilizes high-powered LED lighting to spread its functional light.  Last September, the Nepa Lamp was exhibited at Designersblock London.

This interesting bathroom was designed by Blanca Sanchez of Halo Design Interiors. Here are some words from the designers about the interiors presented below: “These bathrooms were designed for two large residential mansions in one of the most exclusive residential housing areas of the United Kingdom. Both houses have classical neo-Georgian exteriors, with imposing front elevations. Both were built high on a hill, with extensive views over the surrounding estate, with views as far reaching as 25 miles away. However, this is where the similarity between the two houses ends. The younger clients of the first house wanted a clear contemporary edge to the interiors of the project, including the bathrooms. We focussed on using timeless materials and highly skilled craftsmen to create bathrooms which were not only reminiscent of the most exclusive hotels in the world, but were also comfortable and welcoming for this young family. The main cloakroom was a feature room, with a wall completely clad in horizontal bevelled mirro, reflecting a bespoke linear design composite stone basin, overlooked by a cluster of sparkling Swarovski downlights.By contrast, the other project was driven more by the client’s desire to reflect its classical roots, but again with an up to date edge. The master bathrooms hark back to the art deco era, with the finest veneers and shadow-gap detailing, complimented by solid stone detailing. The rest of the bathrooms flowed from this, bringing in warm wood veneers such as walnut and oak and feature porcelain, with small pebbles encased in resin in one room and metallic mock crocodile skin effect in another”. This ceramic SpongeUP lamps was designed by Spanish designers Miguel Angel García Belmonte of POTT (The Pottery Project). There is a new light. No dazzles, No marks. Not even corpuscles or lumens. It is a warm and porous light, coming from the hand made pottery piece skin. Sponge consists on a clay sphere where the light slips through, thus becomes more than a lamp, as an unusual clay piece with an unique design that achieves a very particular look along its uneven surface.
